Gorillaz have released their new album Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez, and the guest list is absolutely stacked! The new record sees Damon Albarn, Jamie Hewlett and co return to the infectious love of collaboration evident from 2010’s Plastic Beach and 2017 comeback Humanz. And like those projects, Song Machine embraces sonic diversity, inviting rock icons like Robert Smith of The Cure, Peter Hook of Joy Division, Elton John, Tony Allen, Beck and St Vincent to jump on board alongside Unknown Mortal Orchestra and current hip hop stars from both sides of the Atlantic: Schoolboy Q, EarthGang, 6LACK, GoldLink and JPEGMAFIA appear, as do Kano, slowthai, Octavian and Skepta.
